His career includes working at top national and regional CPA firms, where he advised hundreds of clients. His experience spans audit, review, and compilation services, as well as bookkeeping and outsourced CFO roles. He specializes in offering CFO/Controller and bookkeeping services to real estate and service-based companies, leveraging his dual experience as a CPA and entrepreneur. His dedication to excellence and personalized service ensures clients receive unmatched value and support in achieving their goals.

Alex Benazet
Managing Partner
Alex is a well-rounded, detail-oriented problem-solver with an extensive background in wealth management, finance, and real estate. Alex’s early career included roles as an operations manager and FP&A analyst for Merrill Lynch, followed by an accounting and planning position at the University of Penn Health System.
Since 2018, he has been focused on helping small real estate companies achieve operational excellence by streamlining processes, building solid back-office teams, and organizing their information and systems. Alex’s attention to detail and ability to tackle tough projects enables him to drive success in any situation.

Diana Diaz
Accounting Specialist
Diana is a dedicated accounting professional with over six years of experience in accounting, audit, and real estate. She holds a five-year degree in Accountancy and a Master’s in Business Administration, providing her with a strong academic foundation and strategic business insight. Diana is proficient in Xero, QuickBooks and AppFolio, making her highly effective in managing accounting systems.
Her experience includes working with property management firms and service-based businesses, where she has delivered accurate financial reporting, audit support, and streamlined bookkeeping processes. Rochelle brings a wealth of experience as the Creative and Administrative Specialist. Since joining forces with the team in 2016, she has been a key contributor to SBS, handling a wide array of tasks that span administrative duties, creative endeavors, and marketing initiatives; including a variety of graphic design and marketing projects.
